Founded on 25 March 2002, Guhagar Taluka Apang Punarvasan Sanstha (Guhagar Handicapped Association) is the leading disability NGO in Guhagar and Ratnagiri, working for the social, cultural, educational, economic, and physical development of persons with disabilities across Konkan, Maharashtra.
As a trusted rehabilitation centre for Divyang, we started with 30 members and today serve over 1,400 Divyang members. Our mission: vocational training, medical camps, assistive devices, and self-employment support for differently abled individuals.
Provide medical camps, disability certificate support, vocational training and employment opportunities for Divyang individuals across Ratnagiri district — the best disability NGO in Konkan.

Medical Camps & Health Support
31 free medical and disability certificate camps organized in Ratnagiri district benefiting 978 Divyang individuals with disability certificates.
Vocational Training Programs
Tailoring, motor winding, grinding, and vocational workshops. 39 Divyangs are self-employed with 15 sewing machines, 12 grinding machines, and 12 pressure cookers distributed.
Assistive Device Distribution
Distribution of 134 wheelchairs, 76 tricycles, 196 calipers, 47 walkers, 39 hearing aids, 48 Jaipur foot, and 86 crutches to underprivileged Divyangs across Guhagar taluka.
